[SENTO KAISHI round 2] amv contest

First time doing a promo, well, it's not that bad I guess x)

Okay so because of a problem with the hosting server we won't be able to publish the website yet, but because of the event deadline we are going to announce the contest entry now.
Anyway,we are glad to announce to you the first AMV contest that our community, AMV Tunisia, holds.

AMV Tunisia is a community of Tunisian AMV makers who gathered together in order to expand the AMV community in Tunisia in general and help it to open up to the international AMV community.
AMV Tunisia will be organizing several AMV contests on the international scale, and Sento Kaishi’s AMV contest will be officially the first one.

Sento Kaishi is an Anime convention in Tunisia. This year, for its 2nd edition, it will hold an international AMV contest.
So, guys, don’t hesitate to register if you are interested! It will be a lot of fun!

Now, to present the judges:
- Shii: As a member of AMV Tunisia’s staff.
- LunaAMV
- Slimed

The Rules:

Your video(s) must meet the following criteria:

1) Videos must be of reasonable video and audio quality. We suggest that your video resolution be at least 640x480, and your frame rate be 23.976fps or higher.
2) The audio content of all AMV entries must primarily be music
4) Video length must be between 1 minute and 5 minutes.
5) Must contain at least 50% OFFICIAL anime, or Japanese video game footage.
6) No bumpers, credits, watermarks or title screens.
7)the video has to be exclusive
Any trailers entered MUST NOT contain proper titles or authorities in their opening green screen.
9) video formats should be wmv, mp4, or avi, and audio codecs shoud be ogg, wma, or mp3, any other codecs/types won't be accepted

Des reports de deadline sont envisageables ?

Ca laisse même pas un mois tout ça

Ouais clair, un mois c'est pas beaucoup ou alors rajouter les vacs de noël parce que là la deadline est juste avant

Pour le moment non, on est désolé. C'est parce que la convention du Sento Kaishi aura lieu le 24/12, donc les juges auront besoins de temps pour pouvoir bien voir les AMVs et décider et tout xD
Sinon, s'il y aura n'importe quel changement concernant la deadline ou d'autres annonces quelconques concernant le contest AMV, on vous l'annoncera

a propos du deadline: j'ai annonce le contest des le debut d'octobre et j'ai demande a nosamv de faire un promo pour pouvoir partager le contest dans les forums, malheureusement il n'a pas pun le faire donc..... c'etait a moi de faire un promo, mais j'avais des examens, pour cela l'annonce dans les forums etait trop tard

Dans ce cas, je vous conseille de poster la promo sans le clip et rajouter le clip ensuite C'est bien d'avoir une bonne promo mais c'est mieux d'avoir la masse de participants ^^ Bon courage pour votre concours en tout cas !

Oui tu as tout à fait raison Alex, on n'en a pas pensé xD On fera de sorte à ne pas répéter la même erreur à l'avenir Merci bcp pour le conseil ^^ Ça nous aide vraiment car on est une nouvelle communauté et on apprends encore comment gérer les choses xD Désolée encore pour le retard qu'on a faite à annoncer le contest et merci à tous

don't you think it's a good idea to expand the deadline?

It is not possible, because it is for a convention. The results will be broadcast there. If they expand the deadline, then the convention would be over and it would lose its purpose.

(Why are we talking in english? xD )

The deadline is the 17th, while the convention takes place the 24th. To provide less than a week for judging might have been a bit risky. However, on the other hand, in case things didn't go well, this also leaves enough time for a possibility to postpone it by a few days xD

( Btw @Alex, shii already knows about the convention timing problem as he is one of the judges and the co-leader of AMV Tunisia Dunno if you know that or not xD But the thing is, we found ourselves in face of a certain situation that led us to reconsider postponing it xD )

Anyway, shii asked because the idea of postponing the deadline has been suggested by you guys, and you seemed to be the team most interested in the contest so we wanted to hear your opinions on the matter ^^

La deadline est le 17 alors que la convention est le 24. Donner moins d'une semaine au jugement aurais pu être risqué. Mais, en contre partie, celà laisse suffisamment de temps pour une possibilité de le reporter de quelques jours au cas où les choses allaient mal xD

En tout cas, shii a demandé car l'idée de reporter la deadline a été suggérée par vous, et vous semblez être la team la plus intéressée par le contest donc nous voulions entendre vos avis ^^

not really, for both cases the event is on 24 December, so in all cases it is possible, and I'm planning to extending the deadline to get more amvs to broadcast (I just have few entries at the moment, which means I may drop the contest itself)

We would like to announce to you some important updates concerning the contest:

- The deadline has been postponed to 22nd december 2015instead of the 17th.

- The AMVs are no longer exclusive.  You can send one of your old AMVs!
